Adrian Rice is a Belfast poet living in Hickory, NC.  His poems and prose appear in The Belfast Anthology and The Ulster Anthology (Blackstaff Press), Open-Eyed, Full-Throated: An Anthology of American/Irish Poets (Arlen House), and in Crossing the Rift: North Carolina Poets on 9/11 & Its Aftermath (Press 53). His last book was The Strange Estate: New & Selected Poems 1986-2017 (Press 53).  The Chances of Harm (Press 53) has just been released.  Adrian is a Senior Lecturer at Appalachian State University.
