Despina Kaïtatzi-Choulioumi is a psychologist, psychotherapist, educator, author, and translator who was educated in Greece and Sweden, and resides in Serres, in Northern Greece. She has published five collections of poetry and a collection of short stories, has participated in various collective publications and anthologies, and has translated poems by Edith Södergran, Karin Boye, Tomas Tranströmer, and Jila Mossaed from Swedish into Greek. Her writing has been translated into English, Swedish, German, Italian and Bulgarian.
