Eva Marie Hooker

In her first book, Godwit (3: Taos Press, 2016), Eva Marie Hooker traces the migration patterns of a bird, collected wildflowers for semblances, and rooted around in the testimony of women mystics. Her second manuscript, Portion, leans up out of the shade and explores the compass of the world in Margaret Cavendish's 17th century voice. Poems have been published in Agni, Notre Dame Review, Salmagundi, Orion, Terrain, Harvard Review, and elsewhere. She is a Professor of English and Writer in Residence Emerita at Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame, Indiana.
