Jon Riccio teaches literature and creative writing at Beijing Jiaotong University and the University of West Alabama. He is the author of Agoreography (3: A Taos Press) and two chapbooks, Prodigal Cocktail Umbrella (Trainwreck Press) and Eye, Romanov (SurVision Books). He serves as the poetry editor at Fairy Tale Review, in addition to writing a monthly craft article, "Teaching Takeaways," for the literary nonprofit organization 1-Week Critique. He is the founder of a new literary movement, The Confurreal or Confessional Surrealism.
