Ken McCullough was born on Staten Island but spent most of his childhood in Newfoundland. He now lives in the Driftless region of Minnesota. His most recent book of poetry, his ninth, is Dark Stars, through Red Dragonfly Press, as well as a long poem, “The Bear Husband,” through Longhouse Editions. McCullough has also collaborated with Pol Pot survivor U Sam Oeur, on a bilingual edition of U’s poetry, as well as a memoir.
