Larry D. Thomas, a resident of New Mexico since 2017, was privileged to serve as the 2008 Texas Poet Laureate.  A member of the Texas Institute of Letters, his poetry has appeared in numerous respected literary journals, including the Taos Journal of Poetry, Southwest Review, Review Americana, Oklahoma Review and Arkansas Review.  He has published twenty-three print books of poetry, including As If Light Actually Matters: New & Selected Poems (Texas A&M University Press, 2015).
