Thomas Centolella is the author of four collections of poetry. The latest, Almost Human, won the Dorset Prize from Tupelo Press. Other honors include the American Book Award, fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the Lannan Foundation, the California Book Award, and publication in the National Poetry Series. He has taught creative writing in the San Francisco Bay Area for many years.
