Sawnie Morris is author of Her, Infinite, winner of a New Issues Poetry Prize (judge: Major Jackson), and a chapbook in The Sound A Raven Makes (Tres Chicas Books), winner of a New Mexico Book Award. Sawnie is co-founder of Amigos Bravos, a 37-year-old advocacy organization for the waters of New Mexico. She served as the inaugural Poet Laureate of Taos.
