A Selection of Haiku

VULTURES
Rivers can be harsh.
There is no need to build walls
along the frontier.

BAMBOO
Sprouting rapidly
up to the sky, like someone
trying to escape.

THE PEACOCK
Your one-eyed feathers
gaze out over the landscape
of the disaster.

FALLEN LEAVES
Fossil remains in
the space-time continuum.
Gravity’s rainbow.
