Círculos / Circles

Todos tenemos domicilios
particulares, propios. Cierra la puerta.
Así está mejor; pequeño círculo.
Bueno, círculo no, hay ángulos, un cuarto,
paredes protectoras, techo y piso sólidos.

Invisibles
también afuera brotan las paredes:
hasta el pequeño insecto
delimita su esfera de influencia
y fuera de su mundo, nada existe.

Pero también hay paredes sonoras
quiero decir, hay mundos de sonido;
unos dentro de otros, unos junto con otros
sin tocarse, resuenan.

Pero son siempre formas. Se podría
dibujarlas, porque son como círculos.
Más grandes, más pequeños, más oscuros
más luminosos, más o menos cerca

y algunos remotísimos.

We all have homes
particular, our own. Close the door.
That’s better; a small circle.
Well, not a circle, there are angles, a room,
protective walls, roof and floor solid.

Outside
the invisible also sprout walls:
down to the small insect
who delineates its sphere of influence
and outside of its world, nothing exists.

But there are also walls of sound
I want to say, worlds of sound;
One inside the other, together with others
without touching, they resound.

But they are always forms. You could
draw them, because they are like circles.
Larger, smaller, darker
brighter, more or less close

and some very, very remote.
