i win my bosom
i win a sleep that holds
i win an eye that knows butterflies
i win more than a blackbody

i win a coast / that runs
on scarlet fuel ¬
—come to my house, she
replied; there will
be no dews
tonight—all her
doors now know
where i go, where i go, i am
not sorry, the furs
are certain the drawers
will be their time, but
the rest follow
a brook

i win my bosom
i win a sleep that holds
i win an eye that knows butterflies
i win more than a blackbody
