Naufrage à l'Aube/ Shipwreck at Dawn

Bird, barely leaves his mother's nest.

Explores his immediate perimeter

as first rays of sun appear

touching dew-drenched leaves.

With innocent, naive heart, to conquer the world.

Dishonest, deceptive world.

Violently steals the gemstone from the bird.

Once is not enough.

Twice is too much.

Jeopardizes his identity, takes away his joy.

Path of destiny, an unavoidable path. Sun finally rises.

Bird understands, sees and follows his path,

peacefully but surely for happier days.

The end will take care of his end.
